There is a Sanyo NTSC monitor to the left of the observer's
console that will display near real time video of the new
boresight (GotoCam) images. Images will update every 8.533 seconds.

If all goes well tonight the observer will have this monitor
available and jpeg images will also become available on the
Lux web site. I was thinking of collecting an image once
every 60 seconds and saving them to an archive. Is every
60 seconds frequent enough?

This monitor should be installed into the rack to the
left of the MOVE autoguider monitor. But I have been very glad
to have this monitor available for portable use lately and would
prefer to wait just a little while before installing it in the
rack.

This new monitor has two channels so it will work with the
DeVeny Spectrograph camera and serve as a dual purpose monitor.
The boresight camera will display on channel A and the DeVeny
camera will display on channel B.

Please note: You will see nothing discernable from the boresight
camera until the dome is open and it is well past civil twilight.
I will leave the monitor powered off and you may adjust contrast
and brightness to suit your tastes. Please let me know how it
works out.

The center of the PRISM field on the boresight camera is show but an image of
