  • Mimir Hangs - MimirInst problems
    • If LOIS partially loads but the mechanisms don't report success in the LOIS console, then it is likely the MimirInst daemon running on yggdrasil has died or is hung.
    • Exit LOIS on saturn
    • log into yggdrasil (obs72, etc)
    • ps -ef | grep MimirInst
    • kill -9 (the job numbers of all running MimirInst instances)
    • cd /home/camera/taylor/MimirInst-1.1/src
    • ./MimirInst to launch
    • ps -ef | grep MimirInst  - to check it is running
    • log out of yggdrasil
    • restart LOIS on saturn
