The Seeing Monitor

The Seeing monitor can be access in two ways.

• Via the web page at http://lux.lowell.edu/seeing/

• In the control room on the Perkins/Mesa Monitor with the following steps.
  1. Open or find a terminal window
  1. type the command

  mesa 1% vncviewer &

  1. This will open a small window in the middle of the screen with the
  title "VNC Server"
  1. type the number 192.168.0.249 and hit Return
  1. This will open up a window to the Seeing Monitor via VNC
