US Forest Service notice of delays on Lake Mary Road.
Lake Mary Road construction delays through the summer The US Forest Service has advised people to expect delays of about 30 minutes on Lake Mary Road between the Lower Mormon Lake Loop and the Stoneman Lake turn off between Apr 25, 2017 and Aug 31, 2017. Construction work will be on-going Monday through Saturday. The project began this week (May 9) and includes widening and resurfacing portions of Lake Mary Rd, specifically from milepost 310 to 317.5. I believe this is north of the Stoneman Lake Rd intersection. The project also includes replacement of a bridge south of DCT, at MP 297.5.The county has advised people to expect delays of up to 30 minutes when passing through the construction zone. Completion is expected for sometime in the fall, depending on weather.
